Nice opening theme that is used throughout the song. A very good use of percussion in the starting. Sound of glass breaking at the starting of the pre-chorus continued with the bass slowly getting louder gives a gradual climb until the chorus. One of the best lyrics noted "You can take my heart like a criminal / Won't you make me believe I'm the only one". In the chorus, Conor's voice blended really well with the background music along with the lyrics. However, the percussion was a little too much. During the second part, there was nice use of techno after each sentence ending with the words of the last five syllables. Percussion was very suitable for both the pre-chorus and the chorus this time. Repeated use of "Take me to the dark and don't you ever let go / I like the way you treat me like an animal" in the bridge was very good. Both times where Conor sings "Don't you ever let go" was very attractive. The music after the bridge was the same as the opening and it was put to good use later with a techno-style of Conor singing "You can take my heart like a criminal". Chorus was once again very awesome. Ending with the bass getting softer and softer was a very good way of ending this song. One of the best songs from his album.
